My Bio.
Joe DeLeo is a well know reputable self-taught Boston based Rock guitarist who has been active in the music industry since the 80’s. During this time, he started to gain a reputation of being a very talented guitar virtuoso. His playing caught the attention of original members from the mega platinum Band “Boston” which led him to start recording and co-writing music for Sib Hashian’s first solo project since leaving the band Boston. During this same time Joe was asked to submit a tape for Ozzy Osbourne who was actively looking for a new guitar player, unfortunately Ozzy’s long time guitarist Zack Wylde got the gig.
During 90's and 2000's, he recorded and played on hundreds of sessions that were in the genre of Rock, Pop, and Rock fusion. Being in the studio so much influenced him to set up his own studio to start to work on some of his own music with “Rik Ocasiks” bass player and a local Boston drummer.
These days Joe continues to challenge himself to become a better guitar player and is a private student of “Mike Stern” who is one the world’s most influential guitarist. He also has studied with “Steve Morse” and “Alan Hinds”.
Joe is now very excited to now be part of his new musical family at “Support the Song”.com! Please feel free to contact Joe if you are seeking some emotionally charged and passionate guitar work.
